Why wall-mounted vanities are more popular than ever

1. Flotation innovation
Another advantage of a floating vanity is its inherent customizability. Because they are mounted against the wall, you can be more selective about where you place your vanity and the height or height of your countertop.
2. Light as a feather, strong as a board
Wall-mounted vanities tend to be very easy to move due to their modularity, and are much lighter than large floor-standing one-piece vanities. They can be more challenging to install, as you'll need to make sure the mounting frame is properly aligned and connected to strong anchor points (we recommend hiring a professional, but you can do it yourself if you're handy). But despite this, they are actually easy to transfer from one place to another and can last a lifetime. Due to their unique mounting method, wall-mounted vanities are generally sturdier than typical floor-standing vanities, able to effectively withstand all the warping and fluctuations that come with humid environments.
3. Space: the final frontier
Another huge advantage of wall-mounted vanities is that they can free up a lot of space in your bathroom. The extra usable space serves two main purposes: it makes the room appear larger and gives you more space to organize and store toiletries and linens.
The bathroom is already filled with the necessary "stuff": you have the toilet, bathtub, shower (although these are often just part of the bathtub) and sink cabinet, as well as a medicine cabinet, a place to hang towels, mirrors, lights and plenty of Toiletries. These things need to be in the bathroom, but the bathroom itself is often one of the smallest rooms in the house. This makes space at a premium.
Now, of course, the space under your dresser doesn't offer you a ton of newfound space. But it will allocate enough space for you to place a wicker basket or two, perfect for holding linens, towels or toiletries. Or you can choose not to fill the space at all, which creates the illusion of more space. Feeling like your bathroom is larger than it actually is can make the space more comfortable and relaxing, and having a bathroom that feels more spacious (even if it's not actually more spacious) can do wonders for your home's bottom-line value.
